Health and Medical Topics for Baby Boomers

Below you will find links to the articles that have been written for this blog over the past few years that deal with maintaining our health as we age.  The health and medical articles are on topics that may be of interest both to Baby Boomers who are concerned about their own health, as well as those who are concerned about the health of their elderly parents.  Many Baby Boomers are finding themselves in the uncomfortable position of reaching retirement age themselves, while still being at least partially responsible for the care of their parents or other elderly members of their family.

Therefore, some articles listed below, such as the one on "Alzheimers Symptoms, Risk Factors and Treatment Options," will be important to anyone who is concerned about symptoms of dementia in older members of their family, even if they are not experiencing these symptoms yet themselves.  Other articles, such as "Planning for Longtime Medical Care,"  are geared more towards Boomers who are just reaching retirement age.  The index of articles below should provide you with a wide range of helpful information.
